Gunlock Reservoir - Contains largemouth bass, crappie and catfish. Elevation is 3,600 feet. Located northwest of St. George, 16 miles off Highway 56. Follow Santa Clara River north from Shivwits. Primitive campgrounds, boat ramp. Contains lots of crayfish and some big bass.

Upper Sand Cove Reservoir - Contains bass. Minimum bass size limit 15 inches. All bass less than 15 inches must be immediately returned to the reservoir. This small reservoir is located between Veo and Gunlock (near St. George).

Lower Sand Cove Reservoir - Contains largemouth bass. Small reservoir between 10 and 20 acres in size.

Sand Hollow Reservoir - Excellent bass and bluegill fishing in a scenic reservoir with very nice facilities.

This is my area. I know and fish Gunlock, Sand Hollow, Quail Creek often. Sand Hollow is one of the best largemouth fisheries in the state of Utah. Gunlock was drained a couple years ago, but is bouncing back very well. Quail creek is a tougher lake but has many very big largemouth. Many other good lakes a little father away too including, Lake Powell, Lake Mead, Minersville, Newcastle, Otter Creek, Piute, and Enterprise. Many of therse are smallmouth waters too. Hope to contribute more here. Love the site.
