Well I was going to buy one of the Skeet Reese Fipping rods but they are 8ft and that just seems like a lot of rod to me but I will spend the money because I want a good rod. Thanks will check out those topics.

I own the Skeet Reese rod and it is OK but I don't like it anywhere near as well as the Veritas or the Powell, and if you really want to get a better one for just a few more dollars the St Croix is far superior.

Member Posts: 86 | Yeah, St. Croix has by far the best warranty program out there and even their lower end rods are amazing

For flipping and pitching, I have a 7' Med/hev Allstar. It's a nice rod but by no means is it as good as some other rods like St. Croixs or Powells
