It's getting hard to come up with interesting titles....
Anyway, I had about 30 minutes yesterday to go fishing back at the neighborhood pond. I spent 20 of those minutes trying to find the fish, but with my trusty Dirty Jigs swim jig, covering ground is no problem. Finally, I found a few off of a small point with an overhanging tree, hanging out right where the water drops from 8" to about 3'. I tossed in my swim bait, kept my tip up, and retrieved it back slow and steady, with some slight jerks here and there, and a little 10" guy couldn't stand it. I kinda felt bad for him, cause after I set the hook, he tried to fight for about 2 seconds, then just kinda gave up as I hauled him in. I took him off the hook and said, "Hey thanks for taking the bait," and put him back in the water. A couple casts later, his buddy, only a couple inches bigger, decided he wanted to say hello. Again, a small fish and not much of a fight, but hey, small fish are better than no fish. I'm just glad I'm catching 'em again!
I brought my camera with me this time, but these two didn't warrant the paparazzi.

I'll also try to use a good format when I have something good to report. I forgot to mention I used my custom BPS bionic to land the beast... It's mounted on a good all around rod, a BPS carbonlite 6'9" MH with micro guides.

Thank you, sir. I made it myself. If I could make as much money doing that as I do at my real job, I'd do it all day long.
