has anybody tried these on the potomic on the mats or thick grass or the pads. i always here about the frogs. i do really well on the johnson silver minnows in similar situations on the hudson i rigg it with a white grub usally and it works really well , wonder if this will work on the potomic . let me know | |

I have not tried it there, but I have used it with white prok on the back for 40 years when necessary. lol | |

I still carry the old classic Johnson Silver Minnow in my tackle box along with a few Rapala Weedless Minnow Spoon. I also like to put a curly tail grub on mine. | |

They don't make the Rapala Weedelss Minnow spoon any more. I always liked those. They did not sink as fast as other spoons. Nice slow flutter | |

Tom - Im glad you brought this topic up. I keep one in my box too remembering the old days with pork trailer and wicked action that bass could not resist. I have otten wondered why the lure fell out of rotation and I am making a decision to fish it the next time out! Will add to this thread afterward. | |
