It is fine. I just like the ZMAN better but others work as well.

Im very picky I like the Original Zman chatterbait. I have boogee baits and they work but not as well in my opinion. It may just be a confidence thing but I believe the chatterbait has a more erratic wiggle especially when burning it where the boggee and others track straight. Its like when Im throwing a senko I want a senko not a stiko, dinger or salt lick I want a SENKO. The others work but when the $'s on the line you want the senko. Same thing for me with the chatterbait

I think the Booyah Boogie Bait is a lot better than the original chatterbait. I love the leverage bending hook and rarely lose any fish compared to other versions. I think the color schems are also more detailed and I like the mylar flash. I just have more confidence in it.

They sold Chatterbaits with Mylar flash and they are all discontinued and were on sale at Tackle Warehouse last month for 2.99. I gave a lot of those away as free baits to the members, i wish I had some left, I would send them to you.

We change the skirts on the chatterbaits to any color scheme that you want and add any trailer to customize it. When I start catching over 80 bass in one day in the summer at 93 degrees, like we did twice on the Zman, or catch one over 8 lbs like I have on the chatterbaits, then I'll switch to them or something else.. lol  I have used the Booyah and I like their products, but the chatterbait has a more eratic action and I like it better, since the results I have gotten are self evident.

Ive used the booyah and personally I dont like it very much but to each his own. A bait I would put close to the chatterbait is the revenge vibrator but I still dont like it as much as the chatterbait. For me its all about the erratic side to side action you get with the chatterbait when you speed up your retrieve then you slow it down and it tracks back true. The bass CANT STAND this. As far as skirts go its irrellevant to me because I put perfect skirts on them in whatever color I prefer. I mainly buy chatters based on weight, blade color and head color and then I do the rest. 8) I dont like the chatterbait pro series either as much just the standard original chatterbait. It started the whole bladed swimjig revolution for a reason......because it works

I think I'm going to switch over to a different brand chatterbait, I love the Zman chatterbaits and I've caught a ton of bass on them but I've been facing issues with sharpness of hooks. Everytime I buy one, the hooks aren't sharp enough for my liking. Especially the smaller ones. I had 2 bass on one this weekend and the hook wasn't as sharp as I thought it should have been. It was hanging on by a thread, where with other hooks, I've peirced it perfectly. Gonna check these Booyah's out.

oops Steve accidentally deleted your post, my bad. Anyways I had a boogie bait and it didn't wiggle as much, and seemed to go on top of the water when I tried burning it.

The post he deleted said learn how to sharpen the hooks The ZMAN are better, but there is no need to say anything just watch my ZMAN Chatterbait videos. Thats all that needs to be said. Every bass in every video that was caught on a chatterbait was caught on a ZMAN., including the day where Kurt and I caught over 40 bass from 2-7 lbs. Tom saysit is not the bait most of the time, it is the rod and the GIRLY-MAN hooksets!! LOL

I stopped using the boogie baits when I set the hook on a fish in a tournament  on the upper bay and I got back the head and the skirt.  NO Hook and No FISH.
