You need to get somebody to take you somewhere else to fish if possible it will change things right away. Go to a small or medium sized lake and it will happen right away.

there are no lakes that i can go to close to my house, but there are lots of small farm ponds within 10 minutes of my house that i will try to get permission to fish this summer

this is just my opinion Shorty. i would throw a suspending jerkbait until i caught with it. fish it slow.i brought a buddie along with me today. gave him a rod and a jerkbait. he doesn't fish much at all and he caught 2 bass on it. one near a dock and another near exposed rocks in 5 feet or less of water.and if that doesn't work..... try to have some one bring you to another spot.

Great job i caught my first bass on a texas red chatterbait rigged it with a white pearl Zoom super fluke on the 2nd cast thought i got i stuck on a log but felt the line pulling so i set the hook and caught a nice 3-4 puonder. unfortuntly i lost the chatterbait to a log.

Great job guys.  I'm still waiting for my first fish this year.  Work and family lives are crazy and are really cutting in on my fishing.

I still havent had luck  on chatter baits, ive been doing a slow steady retreive, i have used a brown skit black twin tail trailer, and a white with red tip skirt and red twin tail trailer, any suggestions on retreive or color changes.

Just watch my Chatterbait videos. Work them fast and erratic. I have lots of videos with all the retrieves and colors in them.

another thing you can do is do a steady retrieve and give the rod a popping action this makes it go side to side .  Thats what i did to catch the 6lb in my picture that was on a white and chart chatterbait

Look around in this section. There are really a lot of tips with that in it.
