my friend and i fish a very clear pond alot..u can see 5+ feet at most times..as the water warms up we catch mroe fish every week..lately we have been catching them on spinnerbaits and crankbaits..they seem to be tight to hard cover (wood) and close to shore for 90 percent of them..ive tried a pitching a jig may time and some soft plastic with no success..since the pond is 60 feet deep in some spot im guessing the water is cold and thats y most of the bass r inactive...and they r only hitting reaction baits...last fall they were hitting senkos almost every cast..giving me ur suggestions on what else i should try

Shakey Head/ball Head jig with Roboworm or other finesse plastics, Carolina rig with a soft plastic on Seaguar Fluorocarbon in 10 or 12 lb test, Drop shot on 8 lb test using a Daiichi Stand out hook.

i've always had good luck with a zoom trick worm in clear water situations. fish it weightless or with a light weight, i prefer weightless. has really great action when fished weightless.
