Hi everyone im new to the bass fishing world. i moved to tennessee about 2 years ago from hawaii. i did alot of spear diving there and never really new much about fishing. i met a friend here who has really turned me on to tournament bass fishing, my competitive nature pretty much sparked a love for bass fishing. i eat, sleep, and crap bass fishing ever since my first tournament even though we got smoked. ive been fishing for about 6 months now. my partner has been fishing for quite awhile however we both seem to be struggling in catching even a limit.

can anyone here help me?  ive been watching how to and tip videos all over the web and so far this is the most informative site ive come into contact with ... please help id love some advice anything you think would help me to simply catch more bass... either way ill continue to fish and practice. ty pls reply with any info you think might help even if your not extreamly familiar with chickamauga lake .

oh any daytime tips would be great but i have been mostly doing alot of night fishing tournaments so pls keep that in mind.

Welcome. For night fishing I would use buzzbaits, big jigs, big soft plastics, or a big colorado blade spinnerbait. Think lots of vibration and water displacement. And use dark colors so the bass can see a better silhouette.

Hi Great to have you here. Post any reports in the State section for your state and take a look around everywhere. There are a LOT of articles, videos, and specific tournament tactics videos and tips just for this and for co anglers as well. The most important thing to do is look all arounf first and then watch the video called "How To Navigate The Site" and there is a Ask The Pro Staff section and you can even get private help on the phone at times, and we have fishing courses online at Faculty Of Fishing here, and there is a free course to let you see what it is like. Glad to have you and we will try to help as much as possible. Heres the link to the video, watch this first. VIDEO ON SITE

thanx, for advice. i went fishing last night and i did pretty well with a booyah black buzzbait. caught two 4.5lb largemouth any maybe like five or six 2pounder. i also used a strike king midnight spinnerbait black and blue color but not much luck. i  also caught two on a 10in culprit blck and red worm tx rig. anyways thx again for advice.. just need to find some good hotspots now :) all my fish were very spread out.
