THE BASS COLLEGE

Went out this morning to Greenwood Lake. Launch the boat on the north side of the lake (NY SIDE). Water temp was 80 degrees. Fished in and around the docks and got nothing. After read in a post of the lake from Steve V, I motored down to one of the islands in the lake. Again nothing. My sonar was showing no weed beds, just a sandy bottom. After fishing for a few hours we decided to call it quits. Was listening to some other fisherman talk about how there are no weeds to speak of in the lake. Not sure if the lake is being treated to kill off the weeds. Even though we caught nothing the sun was out with a nice breeze in the air. Now back to my glass of wine.
