i go fishing in new jersey eevry week, i fish hopatcong alot, carnegie, tried greenwood, delaware river, etc. but i just cant find a place that i really like and has great largemouth action. can anyone recommend me a place to fish in new jersey? i have a boat that doesnt need a boat ramp, and i am up for shore fishing as well | |

thanx steve, i was actaully planning to go to stone tavern and assunpink this weekend becasue i read on the forums that its a pretty good place. | |

I was just at assunpink today shore fishing. Brought in two bass and one pickerel. Shore action there is not great so i would definitely recommend the boat. Same goes for stone tavern. It is super weedy so unless you like cleaning gunk off your lure every cast then make sure you have the boat. In general though, assunpink has good bass action. If you scroll back through some of the topics in the NJ section then you will find some threads about rising sun and stone tavern where people have nailed some monsters. | |

all lake in jersey r really hard..everywhere u go there is someone else fishing..alot of pressure..just have to deal with it | |
