Well I went to the pond that is filled with wood cover after school until about 8. I wanted to get a little more comfortable with some of my swimbaits, so that's all I took. I started with a mann's hard head swimbait and got a few hits, then got one about 16 inches. I was about to switch to another type, but made a few more casts to the dock. On the second cast I bumped the swimmer off a corner piling and bam.......fish on. It was pulling some drag but after a short fight I got it in. I measured it and it was just a tad over 22". I also got one more 12 incher later.

Yeehah! Nice Shorty. Here come the Zack pics and vids now. And we will have competition for years for him. Next year I am throwing a lot more swimbaits in a lot more places on video for you. I am fishing way fewer tournaments but higher levels and in the meantime at home in Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey, I will concentrate on bigger bass again and use way more swimbaits in some of my clearer waters.
