THE BASS COLLEGE

Caught a nice piggy over 5 then nothing as we went all the way to R76 up river. Coming back I snagged my DJ, so we used the lure knocker, which snagged, then fell out of my hands, so we used the anchor I had in the hold with a floating ski rope, which snagged! Lost everything. It was a concrete sunkin black in 15' with cables attached. We tried for almost 1 hour. Lost all over my darn DJ! Ended up with one more over 2. Worst week on that lake. Spoke to over 18 boats most were either zero or 1. Toournament eneded with winning weight at 4.34! Which was laos lunker. We were not in it , just watched the weigh in. Terrible. Simply terrible.  3 guides I know folded up also last week. Water was over 4-5 ' below table. never seen it like this before now the Feds are changing the rules so the power company can take it down 7.5' when needed. No public ramp will be availabel and only 4 private deep water ramps will be operational. What the heck is going on down there?

I have had a week that was similar in many ways.
