Today and tomorrow. 9/17 and 9/18 is the 2 day, Bassmaster Weekend Series Final on the Potomac River.

Jonathan Miller, our Pro Staff here, is entered and just called me after he weighed in a minute ago at Smallwood State Park, and moved into FIRST PLACE with a 3 fish LIMIT of 11.37 lbs!!

He also moved into first place with big bass that weighed in at 4.37 lbs!!

There are still more anglers to weigh in and he has to do it again tomorrow, but we will be routing for him for the win! (Jonathan said you should buy a few White Terminator Spinnerbaits).

ATHENS, Ala. – American Bass Anglers today announced the 2011 season details for the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series.

The series will feature 20 divisions in 2011 each offering 4 divisional one-day Saturday events and a two-day divisional championship.

Anglers will qualify for one of 4 regional championships, and the top anglers will advance to the National Championship.

The series champion will be invited to compete in the 2012 Bassmaster Classic®. “This series offers the most exciting and the most challenging tournament format for weekend anglers.

The 2011 Series Champion earns a slot in the prestigious 2012 Bassmaster Classic® to compete against the world’s best bass pros and a place in history”, said ABA President Morris Sheehan. “First place pays $3,000 for co-anglers and $6,000 for boaters at one-day qualifying events with a full field of 200 boats. ABA will continue to offer $2500 first-place for the Co-angler and $5000 for Boaters based on a minimum field of only 100 boats,” continued Sheehan. “Triton, Mercury and MotorGuide owners also can earn bonuses up to $5,000 at divisional events and up to $105,000 in bonuses at the no-entry fee National Championship.” Winning a divisional one-day event can pay up to $11,000 with a total purse up to $50,000. Divisional Championships can pay out up to $14,000 to the winner with a total purse of up to $72,500. The payouts plus Triton, Mercury Marine and MotorGuide bonus money allows the weekend anglers to cash in some major paydays for one-day, low-entry fee tournaments.

Entry fees are $200 for Boaters and $100 for Co-anglers for one-day divisional events. The entry fees for Divisional Championships are $300 for boaters and $150 for Co-Anglers. 20% of the field will earn a check at all divisional qualifying events.

The divisional two-day event will be a true divisional championship in 2011 with anglers being required to meet minimum qualifications to compete in the event. Each divisional point champions both boater and co-angler can earn a secured slot for the 2011 National Championship providing they meet requirements. The top 40 Boaters and Co-anglers from each division by points advance to one of the four Regional Championships.

At the Regional Championships, the first-place boater will take home a Triton/Mercury boat package. The top 50 Boaters and Co-anglers will advance to the no entry fee, $680,000 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series Championship. The winning boater of the National Championship will win $100,00 with up to $105,000 in additional bonuses available.

The winning co-angler will win $50,000 with $52,500 in additional bonuses available. The Boater Champion advances to the 2012 Bassmaster Classic® and a shot at the world title.

Priority registration for the season begins Monday Oct. 25, 2010, at 8 a.m. CST. For more information, visit www.weekendseries.com or call toll free (888) 203-6222. ABA will offer for a limited time (during early registration) a Freedom pass at no charge for members signing up for all 5 divisional events within their respective division. BASS and ABA lifetime members, as well as Federation Nation members and Triton Boat Owners receive priority registration into the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series.

Jonathan called from the weigh in just now and with about half the field weighed in, he is in 7th place. I think that's Dam good with the field and quality of anglers in rough conditions over a 2 day tournament. His total weight for 2 days was just under 17 pounds, which is a little under a 3 pound average for each bass.

We will see what happens by the time the whole field weighs in but a great effort!! Congrats!

Hey guys i just got home, il write a report and post it tomorrow pictures and video to come,

Also ill post the weigh in video from the aba where on day one I hold up my big bass!!

I had a great time, learned I know I can win, Thanks for the support,

I had a limit of 5lbs, needed 5.2 to cash a check, didnt get the big bite, not on the fish like yesterday with Dave Barker. lost a big one on a carnkbait, caught a 10.63 snakehead, i now know i have what it takes to win, just need back up spots, dropped from 1st to 11th, at least i helped dave find the "golden lure' literally. Leading Day 1 was Awesome!!!!
