Water still high but dropped a lot,

spoke to a few locals near take out who said the water was into there basement (and they all live about 20 feet up a hill).

We took footage for our new to be coming out Confidence Baits Tv, the water was up over the road, into the railroad bridge and mud dried onto the leaves of trees 10 foot over the water, so the road we were driving in, our truck would be fully submerged. 8.5 Mile float in a 16 ft 2 man cataraft, shermans creek-marysville PA.

Water, mid 50s-low 60s, wind 15-20 air 67. Started off great, about 15 minutes in, fished right next to where a jet boater was set up and left who we have fished with before, a local jet boat mechanic, some rocks over a point with a small eddy behind it,

war eagle chartreuse spinnerbait with a chartruese grub on the back, about 6'' under the surface in green water with 2 foot of visibility, saw him come up from the bottom and whack it, 17-18'' fish, netted, unhooked, released.

Nice and fat. About 5 minutes later, bigger rapid, jeff was manuevering the oars, a small eddy pocket at the top of the pool, as soon as it hit the bottom, smack, new personal best on length, 20.5'' smallie at 4.25 on the same spinnerbait which is now bent to hell which im not even going to try to fix since its been bent back so many other times, between us in the next few hours switching between soft plastics on draggin heads, lipless cranks and spinnerbaits we got 6 or 7 more on spinnerbaits, got to some grass and got two on BS craws, and one on a koppers live target golden shiner lipless, 5 or 6 more nice ones on a spinnerbait and one more on a trap before we left, alone with a musky that chased his lipless to the boat but wouldn't take it.

Will add pictures and trip videos as they become available to me.

Overall pattern,

post cold front,

tight to cover but willing to chase a moving bait, prefered color, CHARTREUSE ( There smallies, of course) but a few on a white orange and blue assasinator baits clacker spinnerbait color called dustins muddy water secret. Big fish pattern was bottom, bright, top of eddies, chartruese, small fish baits, small bottom soft plastics, oh yeah almost forgot about the part we filmed about the emotional part of fishing..... Hooked one going through class 3 rapids, through spinnerbait inbetween two boulders, smack, atleast 21'', 50lb braid, 3/4 oz spinnerbait, drag cranked down, launched from the water, directly on the upstream side of a ledge rock while we were rolling down rapids, braid rubbed, TWINK, if anyone finds a susky smallie with a big gaudy piecy of lip jewelry let me know, ill pay to have it back :)

Now thats the way to fish a River. I love fishing the River up here and their are lots of Small Mouths. The Problem is the Rocks and very hard on your Lower unit. Some guys buy Jet boats and that is another great way to fish the river

Alot of guys use jet boats and i would never use a true outboard on a river, we go through areas a foot or less deep certain times of the year or that is how far under the surface the rock is, but this is just as effective, much more silent, and much cheaper.

Your the first because if you payed attention to the first 3-4 mins of the video :D , he dropped me and the boat off at the put in, drove the truck and trailer to the take out point and rode the bike back up since we only had one vehicle.
