Fun fishing the bass bite. Tournament days they don't. That is how it's been here the last 3 weeks. I have never seen so many blanks come to the scales than I have these past weeks. As for myself it's been the most frustrating month for fishing ever. Fished Rocky Fork, BLANKED but broke 2 off. Alum Creek weighed 1 and the Ohio river 2 day event weighed 1. That is just sad and guess what? Going back to alum next week to donate.. Maybe I can catch a musky. Good luck around the state because I think we are going to need it.

If it makes you feel any better today is suppose to be a excellent day for fishing based on the moon phase its a perfect 3 out of 3

Same thing has been going on here in Maine. Thank God its starting to pick up. Fish didn't like the Water Temps dropping so fast. I'm finding you have to just drag something on bottom real slow right now. We caught a few nice one's this weekend doing that. Should start picking up soon , I HOPE !

Yeah Rick it's been really frustrating. I am heading back to Alum for my last club event. I will be throwing smaller soft plastic swimbaits just off the bottom for some SMALLIES. I will win the event or at least catch a big toothy critter. Might throw a drop shot in also but not sure. Hard to believe I can catch them on spinnerbaits and chatterbaits during practice and only get 1 keeper on tournament days.
