went to the nanticoke river yesterday, (my favorite fishery) and it was on, caught about 15 keepers, biggest being 3 pounds, all on a spro lil john crankbait in citrus shad color, on laydowns and dock pilings, caught them in the very back of broad creek on laydowns, and on the main river up near seaford on some long docks, bigger ones seemed to be on the docks in the main river, water temp was 63 in back of broad creek and 68 out on the main river, fish were very skinny, you would think they would be getting fatter trying to feed up, but i dont know, i cant read a bass's mind lol, oh and also caught a few nice size stripers, it was fun!

Yeah, that would be my concern. But it would sure be a long ride from Phillips landing with a 14' Tadpole and a 15hp outboard! You can see the ramp pretty well on Google maps (zoom way in). It looks like a nice facility, with a dock (floating?) for easy solo loading and unloading. Hopefully I'll get down there within the next few weeks.
