This past weekend... We caught these on Dirty jigs w/ speed craws and paca craws . caught several more on Grande bass beavers and mega claws  Texas rigged with a 1/4 oz. weight pegged. The water temps were 62 -68. Stained water. blue bird skys with light winds, With the full moon just around the corner we knew where they would be.lol.  Bass were caught in 3- 9 feet under cover and drop offs. The pattern seemed to work good for both days. We started with pegged plastics and caught a bunch in the 2 maybe 3 lb range some a little bigger. it shut off close to noon . We stuck with it for another half hour with out a sniff, So i decide to throw on a Dirty swim jig with a paca craw in the same area we were just flipping soft plastics and  ...bingo... 5 bass in no more then 20 min. All about the same size. We knew they where there. It was just trying to figure out what they wanted. here's some pics.

the rattle trap is in my opinion the second most versitle lure. I use it year round and have a pole solely for my red eye shads

i always post them but hardly get anyone to go. its always a boat situation. all you need is a jonboat, trolling motor and a cooler with aerator. Do you have a boat Corey?
