Decent swim jig bass 2lbs  tried a totally different pond with less cover and big drop offs and coves. I was pitching a swim jig with a grandebass mutant trailer had several others on but came off (just like you guys said about the sk swim jigs lol)but it was fun water was warmer 80 ish degrees no wind completely calm....

there is nothing wrong with the strike king swimjigs as long as you pin them right....remeber that swimjig video with steve early in july? multiple 5's and a 6 on the strike king jig in heavy pads. they are just fine. hesatate reel to umm and swing for the fences, if they are in pads lean into them and hope their heads will come up.

As far as a swim jig goes they are OK but dont offer the contrasting color patterns or the quality of material as Dirty Jigs do but will still catch fish. The flipping jigs or Pitching jigs with rattles leave a lot more to be desired. The Rattles broke off them frequently and the hooks were definitely not as sharp and resulted in lost fish even with braid. 

got that right! the jig itself is fine the skirt is plain....but it will catch fish and none should come of if you hook them right.

they do catch decent fish but whenever people pm me they say they suck they say they loose fish because the hook is dull and the weedguard gets in the way so I trimmed my weedguard and charpened my hook and barb now they work good im going tomorrow morning at 4 so i will post pics im going to try a custom made buzzbait steve gave me....

they catch fish no problem, and how does the weedguard get in the way? i throw strkeking swimjigs with no modifictations and have had ZERO problems, and the hook is far from dull, i still throw the one from redmill and i have caught 50+ fish on it and it has no problems at all!

i don't say that other people do that i have talked to comparing them to other jigs i still want to get some dirties 4 christmas though but i like them

Yeah SK swim jig are decent i always have them in handy they are great jigs 

I am going to send you some Dirty Jigs and you will not use anything else again trust me They are so much better it is not even serious to discuss something else.

caught these 2 on a swim jig this morning 64 degrees out brrrrrrrrrrrrr water was warm long casts on the weedline 1-4 ft of water 

Those bass are as skinny as the ones I caught the other day. lol

Ya, nothing wrong with the Strike Kings. I have had no problems with them, and their bluegill skirt color is my favorite for swim jigs.

LOL Wait til i send you the Dirty Jigs and you will never say that again. Trust me. There is NO COMPARISON. Not even close. 

There about the same as the finesse dirty swimjig, but you cant compare it to the normal swimjig as they are completely different in skirt make up, hook, and weedgaurd.

lol they both did not even weigh a pound and alan not all bass in tx are fat the weight comes from length i do like sk jigs though they are the only jigs ive tried but i do like them mine is a pro model jig
