A question to the experts from a nonexpert: Where do the bass winter in our little eutrophic ponds? Many are only 6-7 feet deep. Thanks, Old Bass Man | |

They dont In Florida they just slow down and hit different baits, just like here in Delaware. When they are all only 6 or 7 feet deep, they are in the best cover and best water, (most stable), but they really have no where to go but just to slow down and wait. Like you said the water is all the same depth and shallow they are in the same places all the time.Sometime it is the deeper water on a drop off or ledge, but it is still shallow so.... | |

I know when I fished in Alabama in the winter months most bass where in the wider parts of the ponds. And beleive it or not a pink Pork"O was the ticket.lol | |
