Went out Yesterday morning from 6:00 to 9:30. I tried throwing a swim jig on a little point and got nothing. Then i was looking in the water and there was about a 6ft drop off. The water was warm temperature outside was 75 degrees 25mph winds. So i threw on a strike king red eye shad in sexy shad color and fished the drop off for a while. Then i noticed there was a popped inflatable boat in the water so i threw right next to it then there was a big patch of weeds so i put it right into the patch and ripped it through and i guess i caused a reaction bite and this 2lb crappie ate the rattle trap(Pic below). Then i switched over to a different pond and 1st cast caught a little 12incher who didn't even look like a bass he had a very faded stripe but iv'e been skunked one day this fall and i don't want that to change! | |
