Were planning a vacation to lake buena vista mid may. I get the pleasure of taking a guide trip on lake toho( and maybe get my first 9+) and the vacation house were staying at has a fountain pond in a private community that is pretty big but not to wide, about 30 yards, so a good cast width. Shaped like one of those winding hole golf course ponds. Going to take a MH spinning rod since its two piece on the plane to fish the little pond. What kind of tackle would you think? I cant really take much, i was thinking a good assortment of different colored 4-5'' senkos, a few smaller 3/8 or so spinnerbaits, a sammy, a buzzbait and a frog or two, anyone think of anything different? I was thinking maybe a few 1/4-3/8 oz dirty swimjigs.

Airlines are strict enough, im not sure how much they would like my bringing on treble hooks lol, notice all single hooks beside the sammy which i may end up leaving and just trying out those money hounds which are soft plastic dog walking baits. Ooohh maybe a big 10'' worm weightless to imitate a snake

Big Ribbontail 7-8 inch worms in Red shad, 5 inch Senkos red shad, and 3 swimbaits like a King Shad, etc thats what they will hit. They hit a buzzbait and a frog at night also if you can stand the bugs.

Yes because thats there spawn correct? The main reason for the trip is it is my grandparents 50th wedding anniv. and they will already be down there for a few weeks, were going down to surprise them one day but the rest of the days are fun.
