I got out yesterday from 9:30 to 4 at a city park pond. When I got there I started with a small chartruese grub to try and catch some crappie. I was jigging it off the dock and got a 12 inch bass instead. After that I didn't get any more fish for about an hour, when I caught 4 tiny crappie in about a half hour. Around 12:00 I got another 12 inch bass, this one on a green crappie jig. Then I went to the other dock, and started jigging it around that. After a few minutes I got a nice 12 inch crappie. I stayed at that dock for another half hour or so, then caught another 12 inch bass. I had about an hour left so I went back to the other dock. I caught about a 16 inch bass, then it was time to go.
