Dec 17, 2011, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Spent a couple days this past week fishing with David Prosser from Franklin TN and Mark Adams (Adams Guide Service-Nashville TN) chasing smallmouth on Tim’s Ford. We put in at Tim’s Ford marina and fished the Mid Lake area. We put lots of fish in the boat both days, with our best fish came on half ounce Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special and Pumpkin Orange) and 3/16 ounce Spot Removers rigged with a sped craws and grubs fished on 17 and 6 pound test Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon. We found fish on main lake and on secondary points and about half way in to pockets in the mid-lake area. Water temps dropped a little to 53-54 degrees depending on what part of the lake you are on. Don’t miss out on some great winter smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford. I have days available this month and have already started taking reservations for January and February, make your reservations now for some great winter action on Guntersville, Nickajack and Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in” Visit www.midsouthbassguide.com for more photos and sign up for my monthly newsletter

This is cool. I might look into a trip to Guntersville only beacuse Paul Elias kicked butt with the alabama rig there in the FLW walmart tourny. | |
