For a full super tune  it is $45, if 1 or 2 reels, and $35 each for 3 or more reels. Thats 15% off my normal rate for anyone on this site. 

My super tune includes, full flush of ALL the reels bearings and grease packing of non spool bearings and lubing of spool bearings with a custom blended TG rocket fuel, upgrade drag to a wet or dry Carbontex system, full clean and degrease in a ultra sonic cleaner then re grease with ultra high end ZPI grease (very very high dolar stuff it is) then some tricks I have to really get the most out of reels and a full polish of all friction points, and a few more secrets depending on reel model.

I do bearing upgrades as well and mainly use TG rocket ABEC7's and ZPI ABEC7's and 9's I can do Boca abec 7's and 9's as well but tg's are a better bearing and cost about the same so i try to get people to use them. Their 7's spin as good as Boca 9's do. Bearing prices depend on how many reels I am doing so contact me for quotes on bearing upgrade prices..

I also include a needle dropper of my blended rocket fuel with all reels for relubing the spool bearings and i recommend ONLY that oil for spool bearings however I can lube them with anything you want if thats what you want.

The prices I listed are 15% off normal prices and doing the drag upgrade in that price is for site members only. normal fees are 10 dollars for dry carbontex and 12 for wet and 52.50 for 1 or 2 reels and ill do site members for 45 for one or two reels and 35 for 3 or more INCLUDING a wet or dry carbontex drag included in that price. so really you guys will get about 35 to 40% off normal rates, also I will promise site members a 3 day turn around and 10% off normal bearing prices.

You know this is just my luck. Just sent some out a couple of weeks ago. Maybe I need a BEARING UPGRADE. I sure would to love to throw my flukes on a baitcaster at Erie this spring.

this is great...i have some reels that were taken apart and never put back together and they need a big cleaning...

You can have a serious reel when you let him do this, even just the basics without bearings makes a major difference when he does it.

bearing upgrades can yeild some impressive gains however in todays high end reels they most come with ABEC3's to ABEC5's (Steez, Zillion Type R Ect come with Stainless steel 5's,, I would rate Shimano ARB's ABEC3 in spin quality and Daiwa CRBB's the same Quantum PT bearings when done right will spin about the same as a ABEC3 as well) and when flushed right and lubed right will spin up really good not as good as hybrid 5's 7's or 9's but still pretty good.

and just a good tune, clean and flush will make a big difference in how the reel casts bearing upgrades will just make it that much better and allow lighter baits to cast with more distance and control. a super tune will add more distance by its self then would be if you just installed abec7's and no tune and give you a more refined reel in each and every way.

To give a number, lets take a Brand New Citica E and lets say I installed ABEC7's and did nothing else it would give you about 15 to 20% more distance with lets say casting a 1/2oz lipless now lets say I just did a full super tune and used the stock bearings I would say now you are looking at a 20 to 25% increase in casting distance over stock! now heres where bearings get real important lets say we took a new Citica E again, spooled it with 8# FC and used it for shaky heads with a hand poured 4in worm and a 1/16th oz head so a little more then 1/8th oz total lure weight.. with thestock bearings done up right and a full super tune you wouldnt get useable casting distance no matter what I did to it..

now lets say I put in ABEC7's done up right on top that tune now I would say your distance would increase 60 to 70% over it new out the box!!!!! yes really that much no kidding and 30% over it with the full tune and no bearings.. so you can see where its really important to do bearing upgrades and thats when you want a long casting reel you do a tune if you are only doing one thing not both but both is what you really need, if you are using the reel for super light baits then and you can only do one then you go with bearing upgrade before the tune but once again you need both to get the full affect. for the reels that are doing just you normal casting duties then your stock bearings once done up right are most times good enough and I only suggest bearings when the stock ones need replacing.

Thanks Robbie and everyone else I will get you all taken care of be sure to let everyone know how much you love your reels after I do them up. Everyone is assured a first rate job when I do your reels I take the time with each reel and do it up as if that was the reel I would be using to pitch a jig in the bed of a world record Bass I want everyones reels to make them smile each time they use it and I also dont like when other reel guys take 2 to 4 weeks to send the guys reels back out I wont do that I want the fastest turn around time of any guy doing what I do. Robbie also while I fix it for you Im going to clean it up and do a nice lube for you so it is as nice a reel as it can be and I will get the line roller doing its job the best it can so it cuts down on line twist the best it can. Oh i never said anything about spinning reels they are 40 if one is sent and 30 if a combo of any 3 or more reels sent. IE 1 spinning reel one casting reel total 85 two spinning reels total 80.00, 2 spinning one casting total 100.00, two spinning one casting total 95.00. There is a lot i can do to spinning reels to make the super smooth and fluid as well as some line roller work to really cut down on line twist. If i can on certin spinning reels with one bearing line roller and the othere side has a bushing i will remove that bushing and install a low priced but much better then a bushing bearing so now its a double bearing line roller, i cant do it on all reels but most shimanos from the Soros F to the sustain and of course the stella has two bearing roller already, a lot of Daiwas can be done to and all the new quantum PT Reels and thats included in the cost and cuts down big time of twist. I have all the normal size bearings in stock to do it with so as long as its not a off the wall size roller bearing and in bass sizes I have the bearings to do it as long as its between 500 and 4000 size in shimano and 1000 to the 25XX size in daiwa and size 10 to 40 in Quantums, Most the reels from the Pure fishing camp (Abu, Loo-ger ect ect) I can not do this to as they mosyly dont have a bushing just one bearing

Hey Jacob, I know I talked to you earlier about sending one of my reels in, but I actually just sold that and got the curado 50E, how much better would a super tune make it?

It will make a pretty good difference even without bearings as they way over lube at the factory and use far to thick of oil in spool bearings plus the drag in that reel really needs an upgrade so that will help and the polish isnt much but will make a little difference but once all the tuning is done it will cast lighter baits better and heavier baits farther.

Tom reels was sent yesterday evening and it says they will be to you on Friday, when you sent them it came a day later then they said so it may be sat! let me know how you love them now, I spooled al them up with cheap line and casted them to make sure everything was all good and they casted awesome and was smooth as silk! dont worry I removed all the line lol you dont have to take it off.. I set the reels up how I fish them, try it like that and if you can handle them setup like that you will never have touched a reel that casts as far!!!
