There has been alot of article's written about the harmful affects, of discarded soft plastics, when ingested by bass.  Some i agree with and some i don't.  But, this doesn't matter because we shouldn't do it anyway.  When i was younger i kept a empty coffe can and threw wornout plastic's in it.  I would re-melt it and make my own worms.  I think if everyone here at TBC could take the time and collect their junk plastics and dispose of them properly, it would show a good effort to help the enviroment.  I personally am going to collect mine and offer them to Alan R., because he pours his own worms. The price to ship them is less than a decent crankbait and i have no problem doing it!  I just feel that it would be a good conservation effort!

Actually, hearing about Alan recycling his plastics has encouraged me to work with the conservation director in our bass club to start a recycling program for our bass club members. I'd like to start repouring them myself, but until then, I plan on sending our old/wornout plastics to Alan.

And your right! Either way, better than ending up on shore or in the lake killing fish!
