Dec 23rd, water temp 46-48, air temp 51. 6 fish total, big fish 6.15! The key to this day was fishing the 4" and 5" senko style baits slow! sometime letting them sit on the buttom for almost a minuete and actually had some hit it so soft i never knew they were there. i would say this bite is due to a cold front just blowing through. acouple of days of warmer weather and the bite would be alittle stronger. prior to this trip all of my fish have been coming off of jigs football and shaky with water temps between 49-56. im planning on going again soon with what looks to be a warm streak coming in. How is everyone else in VA doing with winter bassin? | |
