Whenever I get ready for the season, I always recoat the fin on the bottom of the motor with a coat of Dev Con Epoxy. This keeps the paint on and holds up very well. I also coat the area where the weld is from shaft to motor as this seems to also wear off easy. I did this when I fist got my mtoor and it still looks like new. | |
