Any negative reviews on the fortrex?Thinking the holes will line up with maxxum that is on now.wingdams and stumps here i come. | |

No, the holes Will not line up as me and Tom have just found out. I needed to drill 5 new holes into tom's to mount this one. Although when I mounted Tom's 101 on my Stratos, they lined right up although more forward by almost 2 " so the tip hangs over the bow about 2". Awesome motor although I am now going back to a Maxxum 101 I just sold my Fortrex 80. the Fortrex is a great motor as Tom just got his 101. | |

Remeber to put tape around the holes once you mark them and start with a small bit 1/8, and work your way up. I used 3 different bits putting Toms in. The tape stops the fiberglass and coating from cracking when drilling. | |
