I was just sitting here thinking about all these nice Boat Wraps these pro's have on their boats. Guess the Question is , How do they hold up during the year and how long they will last on a boat ?

They hold up great and last for years. They really dont cost that much so by the time it needs it you can get it done again especially with some help or free as many of them are.

Thanks. I've always thought about getting one for my boat to dress it up.When I'm over to the Bassmasters in March , I'll take a good look at them. If I have time, I'll be passing out cards ! lol

I'll need to do some studying on this. I've got a 19 ft G3 aluminum boat . Don't know if that would make a differences or not. I know the Pro boats are Fiberglass .

I think my son can do small wraps, not big ones that are on trucks. He does all the other stuff, stickers, decals, tee shirts, signs etc.I'll ask him tomorrow. He lives in Milford.

From what I have seen, they really do help protect the boat, sure, if you fish in the sticks alot, the wrap will get damaged, however most places that wrap your boat will repair any damage. One of these days I am going to think about wrapping mine also.

As you migh have noticed my Champion was wrapped. They hold up very well...that is unless you like to go busting through trees, etc. They are very easy to maintain and can even be lightly buffed. But unless you have a paying sponsor I don't thik they are inexpensive running an average of $2400 plus for a full wrap.

I have my boat wrapped and it makes the boat look completely different. It has lased very well, I've had it on for about a year and have a few scratches and tears here and there but the bigger trees will do that to it. A&M Graphics fixed a few severe damages I did to it a few times and cant even tell. The pricing and quality of the wrap will depend the quality vinyl the company uses. 3M products are great and there are a few other companies that make a great quality vinyl as well. For me the pricing was worth it because it helps promote my sponsors and always gets tons of attention and has saved my gelcoat from the sun and trees etc. They are great investments to product your bigger investment, your boat!

I was told they can do a aluminum boat. A 19 ft boat would run around 2500.

When I get my boat in 2013 I will be wraping it, for me the hardest thing to do is come up with the design, although I have a couple things in mind! I think I will use the design on this years jersey for me but also have my signature by the Console.

What are some cool features on wraps that you guys see?!

Patrick there are so many designs and backgrounds and programs that wrap companies use that its like being a kid in a candy store when you sit down to look at them all. I have a design within the entire wrap of sharded metal and it fades from white on top to red to black. Theres an unlimited amount to what you can do anymore.

We do not wrap boats here. We offered to pay for part of a wrap to certain Pro Staff who fish major tournaments and work for us and to select members who have ordered thousands of dollars worth of Tackle from us in the past and continue to order at a high rate and bring in new members and orders, so we are happy to help with part of a wrap for them if they found a local company or friend to do it at a reasonable price and the amount we would pay is based on how much they can get it for and how much they have done for us. There are certain members and Pro Staff here that have actually purchased more than $10,000 in tackle and equipment, and in that case we would consider paying for a portion of a boat wrap, it is not something we offer to just anybody. Thanks
