Jan 28, 2012, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Mr. John Howard joined me today for a day of Smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford. Launched at the State Park and fished the lower portion of the lake. We had 16 fish today with a good limit of 3-4 pound fish; the best fish came on half ounce Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special with green pumpkin trailer) and 3/16 ounce Spot Removers rigged with a grub. Most fish came in about 8-17 FOW. Water temps started out at 49.5 and climbed to 50.5 degrees at noon as we pulled out. Don’t miss out on some great early spring smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford. I have Sunday and Tuesday open this month and have already started taking reservations for February thru July, make your reservations now for some great late winter and spring action on Guntersville, Nickajack and Tim’s Ford.
