Hello fellow The Bass College Members. I went fishing today with Lenny and we caught about 40 fish with our biggest being 4.5+lbs. We were fishing in south florida. The temperatures were 89 with 1 mph winds. The bait of choice was a 3.5 inch senko in a red color. It was great and a lot of fun. I want to give a shout out to Scottie for putting the metting together. Heres the video of my set-up:

Great job guys. From what lenny has told me , He says you know alot when it comes to bass fishing he was impressed and had a great time. He said he would fish with you anytime. Thanks for helping out my buddy Zach. The color for the most part is more of a confidence thing. I was talking to Tom and he said the same. Dont get to hung up on the color. The presentation is what is important.

True but anything that is like a RED SHAD color is traditionally known to be the bait in Florida waters.

I agree steve but i have fished about 7 different types of colors of senko, one in tuquilla sunrise, one in red shad, one in this other red color, one in all black, one in pumpkin, one in watermelon red, and one in pearl. the one that is this red out produced the fish 3:1 and i fished for the exact same time and the exact same rig with each color of senko. I used to thought color wasn't a big part, but after today, its hard to not be a believer.

It it seems to matter a bit more in those Florida waters than some other places. That red color is killer down there when other things dont work.

I totally agree Steve. I saw about a 3 lber swim right towards a bbz 4" lenny was using, but they weren't taking it. He switched over to the worm, i showed him how to work it, and BOOM, he was catching them!

very cool zach, nice job!  what size senkos do you usally throw and what colors?  as far as the color thing goes sometimes a certain color does out produce others , but most of the time its a confidence thing , what i do is when i have people in my boat and they tell me a certain color works i try other colors , when the bite is on!!!!  and usally we end up catching them on all colors , but sometimes a certain color does out produce others , anyway its good to try this experiment when there biting good. id just like to say i enjoy your post you seem very smart for your age! if you ever have any questions you can pm me anytime!

Here is a funny picture. The biggerfish chocked a hook, and i couldn't get it out and
I was going to cut the line, but lenny said he could get it out. He gave me his rod that he already casted and bam, i hokked that one.
