Hey guys, im glad to say that i will be checking in more often now that school is starting to wind down and i now have more free time on my hands. Believe it or not i have not been fishing in months. I will finally be going out this weekend to the lake beside my house. Any how this Thursday is my Birthday, i will be 17! So of course im going to ask for some bass fishing equipment. Just wondering is you guys have any suggestions of what i should ask for. Im set on my rod and reel...looking more to some tackle suggestions.

P.S. A fishing lisence is already on my list! haha

Thanks!

depending what season you're coming into.  i'd ask for dirty jigs flipping and swim jigs, assassinator spinnerbait, z man chatterbait, and mega claws soft plastics and maybe some gary yamamoto 4-5" senkos.  other than that a huddleston swimbait and a zara spook.  my year would be set.  again this is what works for me.

Thanks Mike, those are some good suggestions! Im set on spinner and chatterbaits tho. the rest sounds like i need them..especially dirty jigs.

And cochran53 i mostly have alot of hardbaits like lipless crankbaits and cranks, and alot of soft plastics. Anything that works for you will be a good suggestion.. guess im asking for your go to bait! I really need some swim baits, i have never tried one and would like to see how those work for me.

Are you under 18? If so register here at the JUNIOR FORUMS<<  if you haven't yet. I would ask for some swimbaits and dirty jigs though.
