Due to a mild winter here in southeastern NC, the bass fishing season has started early. My first day out was Feb. 7th. Me and my fishing partner caught a stringer of nice size crappie. We also caught several largemouths. They were all under 2 lbs but fun to catch anyways. My second trip (Feb. 16) was on a cold, overcast day with periods of light rain. I caught two bass despite of the poor weather conditions. This Sat. (March 3rd) is going to be a warm overcast day according to the forecast. I'll let you know how it goes.... Allen | |
