Roosevelt, Apache, Alamo, Havasu and Pleasant are on fire right now. With fish in full spawn and a lot of fish post spawn. Fished Roosevelt last weekend and there were giant balls of shad everywhere. Pulled into a small cove and bass has a ball of shad pushed into the back and were just boiling everywhere. I had 8 fish in 8 casts with the largest going 3.5lbs. Square bill cranks and blades are the go to lures right now. With thissmall cold front moving through with a little rain and slight temp drops I expect that the fishing will be great this weekend again! Tight lines!

We will have video from the tournament there this weekend. Fred is right, I went out Sunday and had an absolute blast. We are really looking forward to the tournament tomorrow. The first few hours should be fun!

I'll have to give my Sister a call. She lives about 1/2 hour away from Apache and would love to know the fishing is hot . Thanks for the report !
