went out to lower otay reservoir today from 8:30am to about 10:30am. Air temperature was 65 degrees did not know the water temp . I started the day throwing a berkley chigger craw around tulis(this whole lake is sorrounded by tulis). I got 2 fish one 12 inch and the other was about 10 inches. I didnt get any more hits on that so i switched over to a gary yamamoto 5" senko texas rigged and got a 2 1/2 - 3lber. then i only had about 40 minutes left to fish so i started throwing a cotton cordell superspot and got 2 fish in the 1.5-2lb range. Good and fun day overall. There was a guy fishing from shore aswell that was carolina rigging a big lizard and got what looked to be a nice 6 pounder. Sorry guys no pictures i take pictures and video with my ipod and i forgot to charge it. | |
