So went today with Scottie to piggy pond had a good day! Fished: 4pm -9pm CONDITION: Cloudy then some sun, Water temps: 62-65 Winds from NORTH @ 10 MPH, WATER: stained all fish were caught in 2-4 F.O.W hanging tight to cover and under overhangs. I started off with a 5" senko in red shad laminate got a few bites and missed them Scottie got me to throw on my black and blue jig with a megaclaws trailer (still gotta learn jigs a little) missed a few hook sets again Scottie was pulling in some decent bass in on his jigs with craw trailers I put the senko back on wacky rigged and started picking up some decent bass lost a nice one he threw the hook right before we leave i tossed the senko to a overhang and BAM a 5lb+ bass heres some pics! (sorry no vid Steve) | |
