So hit the Warren resevior yesterday and today Conditions for both days were identical Air Temps 73 Water Temp 79 OVERCAST Passing showers winds from south at 10 mph was throwing Blk n Blue LP Custom swimjigs and let me tell you these are some of the best jigs ever fish were hitting weird..6 PM 7/28/12 .First cast was to high pads dragged it thru stopping it after hitting the roots one slammed it I set the hook he was gone casted again same spot he smashed it on the fall was about 3-8 released him casted same spot another smashed it on fall was a dink tho lol released and had to go. 2 PM 7/29/12 Was throwing same jig tryed every technique I know dragging, hopping, swimming and crawling the jig and not a nibble stay for a hour said to myself ok im gonna go then thought 1 more cast im crawling the jig back felt the slightest nibble thought it was a sunfish it was so light boy was I wrong no scale but it was a slob heres some pics guys! PS Larrys LP jigs and Scotties knowledge and teaching me to use a jig and THEBASSCOLLEGE are the reason I got these fish!

Like Tom says, Set the hook harder! You are setting it like some little schoolgirl!! Try to break the rod when you are setting the hook with a jig, you wont, but thats how you should be doing it, and with speed also at the same time. | |

Lol. I wasn't going to say it but he gets plenty of verbal abuse when I see him setting like a girly girl.lol. hopefully he sets a little harder with his new tourney legend that he's getting with the St Croix upgrade program. Great thing St.Croix does. | |

LOL Thanks Steve and Scottie I been setting it alot harder now I set it like im trying to rip their head off.. went out with Scottie today bite was tough caught a 4lb 6oz bass today and a few smaller ones all on wacky rigged senko report will be up soon! | |
