Throw the jig and swimjigs and an Assassinator buzzbait early, then when the sun starts to come up throw a big Swimbait and you will catch plenty of them shallow. I mean in 4-9 feet of water, thats plenty deep enough.

Hey Anthony, in the middle eastern part of WI right now, the bass seem to be shallow, like steve said, 4 - 9 ft of water. swim jigs are working well for me, and pitching jigs right into the pads seem to be working great. If your bites dying down, tossing a wacky worm at the edges of pads and grass is also catching them like crazy too. And you  just can't beat that early morning buzzbait action!

Have a wacky worm or some type of soft bait rig. When they miss the buzz bait throw the slow falling plastic right where it missed the buzz bait.
