I've had a pretty good last few weeks, more so at 7-8 pm than early morning. Also when the wind kicks up I've had good luck on the downwind side throwing topwater late afternoon. Right around 50 bass to 5 lbs in a total of 15 hours, so not a bad return on the time put in. The key seems to be avoiding totally calm water.

I caught 7 bass today between 1pm to 330pm. All keepers but one dink. I've had good hits on T-rigged brushhogs in a bull frog color or weightless sinkos. I don't get up early enough for the morning bite but have had some nice fish during the mid-day time just fan casting around and working it slow to moderate retrieve until they let me know what they want.
