Tubes and drop shots, and topwater in certain areas. I always havea jig on as well. Ill see if I can get some real current info in a bit. John, try to get some pictures of this event and you in it even if its just a few of them. If you win or get on stage and are wearing a Bass College shirt od any kind or mention the The Bass College.com on any video from there or any tournament, we pay cash for that. If you want to get a inexpensive shirt now they are right here, later I will get a real tournament Jersey if you are fishing major events and well pay for part or all of it depending what we work out when we talk. I always did well fishing shallow grass with straight tail worms and buzzbaits for Largies. Most guys will target the deep smallies on the main lake with drop shots, tubes and crankbaits. I use to find little shallow grassy bays and slay largemouth. Some you had to go under a bridge to get to and theyd be loaded with 3 to 5 pound Largemouth | |

Hey guy sorry for such a long time since the results. The fishing was slow and me and my buddy that i prefished with caught some biggest one being 5.2 in pratice. I got paired with Chis Daves the 1st day. He sayed he had one of the worsted pratices ever. We started shallow around the docks with a popper and a spinner bait. I got one on the spinner bait abut 1.5. He got nothing. We moved deeper 13 to 20ft. I got one a sinkeo about 2.5. He caught one on a creature bait about 2.5. I broke off one a good one on a jig. That one would come back to hurt me in the the long run. We moved to another spot. We started out deep but then he got another idea Flip docks. That hurt me cause he would get 2 cast in and then high speed to the next dock. I was lucky to get a cast under the docks. He ended up catching 8 fish and had 17.8 lbs when all said and done. He was using a t rigged 3 inch sinkeo in green pumkin to skip it as far back as possible. I ened up with 3.14 for day one 71st place. Day 2 I got partner with Allen Glassow. He said we would be fish 15 to 20 ft. Wtih worms and crank baits. He stayed true to what he said. He started out with spinner bait over 15ft of water. I went with a sinkeo. I caught a 1.5lbs. Then he caught fire. He got 2 soild keepers 2.5lbs. Then swich to a crank bait. He got 9 more keeper. I caught 2 more for my limit. Had alot of small ones under 12in. In the end I end the day with 6lbs and he had 17lbs. The end of the touranment I ended up with 9.14 lbs for 47th place happy with that being my first and not knowing how or what would happen. My parnters end up Chris Daves made the top 12 and fished day 3 ended up in 9th with 40.13 and Allen Glasgow ended up in 17th with 28.11 for 2 days. I learned alot and now know that you need to know all kinds of different ways to fish cause you never know who or how your going to fish in something like this. One day there on fishing docks the next 20ft of water. I am going to find tune everything I learned and apply it to next years touranments and I am doning them for sure. Ps I have pic my buddy has them on his camrea i post them soon John
