Lately with most of my buddies being married and losing the interest to fish, I've been going fishing alone more and more. That's fine by me most of the time I like the peace and quiet, but it's nice to fish with someone new and hit up new spots that you only get thru local knowledge. Thru the site, I've met up with 2 members who I fish with now and have learned alot and gotten to go to diff places that I never would have in a million years Tom, one of the Pro Staff on TBC even reached out to me to go out on his boat so that confirmed to me how generous and helpful TBC is (I'm still mad I couldn't accept his invitation bc of family obligations bc it's not everyday you have an opportunity to fish from a real bass boat with a guy who's competed at the highest levels of bass fishing like Tom has). It's a really great community here, so I want to encourage anyone in my area to PM me and go out fishing somewhere. I'm not a mooch looking for a free seat on a boat nor have any romantic notions in case this sounds like that which I def hope it does not lol, but just looking to network with other TBC members around here.  I have a small bass boat that I float down the South Branch and have a blast catching smallies and would welcome the company. I am usually at Round Valley, Spruce Run, or the local county ponds weekly. Also check out my post West Jersey Bass Action in this forum section and take a look at some of the luck I've had this year. Get out and fish!

There are a LOT of NJ members so I would hope a few more would post. Anytime you want to make the drive with enough advance notice, you are welcome to come down here or the Upper Bay when I go.

I hope so too. I figure there are a bunch of guys like me looking to fish w/ somebody so I hope this post will motivate some members to reach out to one another. And thank you for the offer, I remember your PM a while back and when I go down to OCMD I'll be sure to setup a meet n greet or whatever we can put together. Until then, I'll keep chuckin and windin, and keep steering guys to the site when I see them out on the water.

I live in North Jersey and fish Spruce Run all the time. Especially in the late fall. I also fish Round Valley from time to time.

I live in between Spruce and Round Valley, so I fish around there. No motor for my boat, so I have to hump all my gear around the res on foot and wade, unless my buddy is off work and I go out on his. But I do float the South Branch and Musconectong Rivers in my flat bottom, and have an open spot if anyone wants to go out PM me.

Thanks for the offer  I have been a casual fisherman for many years, fishing ponds and small lakes.    Just recently I have become more serious and find fishing in resorvoirs to be very intimidating. I am just finishing a 14 foot semi v. and would like to return the invite to you. I would love to take someone in my boat who has knowledge of Spruce and Round valley.  I have a very open schedule.  I work every other weekend  and two days during the week.

New to the area and trying to get back into bassin' after spending my time on the other coast with trout.  I have been exploring the last week or so and have been to Assunpink, Stoney Tavern, Collier's Mills, Turn Mill Lake and a couple others.  Not much in the way of luck.  Definitely found I need a boat, or a least a fishing kayak.  Having a partner that knows what he is doing would be a plus, too!

Rangers Lead The Way Ray! Gimme a call and lets go out before it gets too damn cold. I haven't been out as much (well I still get 15 hrs on avg/wk lol)....And again, if anybody else is fishing the area and wants to meet up, put up a post and go fishing. I've about had it fishing the same spots in the same ways and the only thing that gets you out of the rut is to learn something new from someone.
