THE BASS COLLEGE

I live in Walnut, California and I love bass fishing of course and have been pursuing them at our local lakes, and my favorite lake is Casitas lake in Ojai ca. and I have been using swimbaits since the early ninties. I started with the swimbait called Worm King, and I have found another swimbait which is my favorite swimbait now called the Stocker Trout. Over the years I have landed some nice bass on this swimbait and continue too be successful with it when time permits.

I Also like fishing for Stripe Bass when i'm not fishing for largemouth bass, as they plant our lakes with trout the chances are good to catch big stripers on the swimbaits also. Swimbaits are my favorite lure to fish with and when the water warms and trout plants cease,  I go to large top water lures in the nine inch range, they seem to produce larger strikes.
