Licensed USCG Guide. Home at Smith Mt. lake VA which I rent weekly. 4 bedrooms, driveway for 3 trucks and boats. 2 minutes 41 seconds to ramp!

Hey man cool to see someone who fishes really close to me. If you have any special tips or advice on where to go at SML let me know. I'm doing my best to get a boat soon so I can fish there.

i was just saying that i saw in your profile about having the place down at SML. I was down at SML in the middle of may for my bachelor party. The house we rented was at the ass end of one of the fingers about 10 mins from the dam. Bass fishing wasnt great from the docks, even people working the banks on bass boats around us seemed to be getting skunked. We did however catch a ton of catfish. Sadly the weather stopped us from being out on the boat too much, lots of thunder/lightning storms. That said i would love to go back so any info on the house you rent would be cool and also if you ever rent it out for a long weekend cause at this point a full week off work is not doable.
