I have spoke with Dan a few times and this is just an awesome lure.
I just got my bluebird in the mail last week thanks to the black friday discount they offered..the staff was super cool and very easy to deal with..A+
True Story- Prior to purchasing the blue bird I purchased the red winged black bird in the early fall late summer sometime..anyhow I was fishing this pond regularly and I mean everyday literally..well it seemed the bass caught on to every lure I threw out there and quick..one month Id be ripping lips using spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and the next month the bass would be hitting lipless cranks and squarebills..well you get the picture..so fall came rolling in and the pond was getting covered in leaves that fell from the trees and it made good topwater frog water..we did the frog thing for a bit and caught our share but when we introduced the pond to that "flip in the bird" lure the reaction was TREMENDOUS literally! me and my son had a blast!strike after strike!
