These are top of the line, Premium Quality jigs hand made by Larry Piccini of The Bass College. A lot of time and effort goes into the making of each one of these Custom Jigs. These are only sold through here for the anglers who want the highest quality baits that can be made with all the features that everyone has asked for over the years in one swim jig.
Introducing the LP Custom Jigs swim jig. These jigs feature a 5/0 Mustad Ultra Point 30 degree hook that is capable of pulling fish from heavy cover.
The heads have a durable powder-painted and cured finish along with holographic eyes and a keeper barb for your favorite trailer. This head design allows the jig to come through cover extremely well and track straight. We use a medium weedguard which is strong enough to fend off vegetation but soft enough to allow rock solid hooksets. Our multicolor silicone skirts contain 50-55 strands of incredible detail. Each skirt is equipped with a rattle band collar for the easy addition of rattles if you choose. In addition, all of our skirts are wire-tied so no need to worry should the collar break.

These jigs are PREMIUM CUSTOM JIGS and are a steal at double the price.
I would like to let everyone know that the LP CUSTOM SWIM JIGS will now be $4.00.
We offered these jigs at the introductory price for 3 months and many members have gotten the chance to try them. There has been a lot of positive feedback and big bass caught since their introduction. I want to give you all a little background about myself.
I got married last August, bought a house in February, and had a beautiful daughter in July. I started tournament fishing last year, something I had wanted to do for the past 15 years but never had the opportunity to. This year, after all the expenses that came upon me, I could not fish tournaments. Since then I had aspirations about making the perfect swim jig so I began playing around. After sending samples to Steve and Tom, they urged me to start selling these to the Bass College Members to make a few extra bucks on the side.
I am just a small player in this huge fishing tackle business. I make the jigs from scratch in the confines of my own home.
This includes pouring the lead, powder painting and curing the heads, gluing eyes on, building the multi color skirts with rattle bands, wire-tying the skirts, and gluing in the weedguards. For anyone who has never done this, it is an extremely tedius and time consuming process. It is quick and easy to build solid or two color skirts but ones that contain 5 and 6 different colors are another story. In order to get the desired look, near perfect color separation is needed.
You can't just grab 6 colors and mix them all together and expect your jig to look good. There are exceptions but usually this isn't the case. This takes time, patience, and very meticulous work. I just wanted people to know this so they understand the price increase.
Sure there are cheaper swim jigs on the market but they do not compare. All top quality components are used on the LP Custom Swim Jigs. No swim jig offers a rattle band collar and a wire tied skirt. I have some colors, including one that Tom Wolverton helped design, that you won't find ANYWHERE else.
Believe me there are much easier ways to make some side money. If you guys knew my hourly rate for making these you'd think I was crazy for doing this. I probably am crazy lol but then again if I wasn't, all of you wouldn't have the opportunity to fish the best swim jig on the market. I enjoy doing this and I want to be the guy that helps the weekend warriors put fish in the boat and the tournament guys cash checks. Tight LInes. Larry
