After the opening of more than 17 flood gates and the cancelling of the Elite Series event, the Upper Bay has seen some big changes!
The number one and most important change was the grass, or should I say, lack of! This was a major factor in the size and numbers of bass being brought to scales on the upper bay, that now is almost non existant.
The challange now is to find the grass where it does exist, and to find the wood cover, drop offs, and rock piles where the baitfish and of course the bass have moved to.
This makes having and understanding good electronics and knowledge of tides even more important than ever before.
To learn more about these locations and tactics you can schedule a trip with us or just visit our group on Facebook and talk with anglers who fish these waters and live on the bay.
Stop in the tackle store to view some of the newer baits that aretaking good bass from these ever changing conditions.
