BUZZBAIT TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BIG BASS

BUZZBAITS FLAT OUT CATCH REALLY BIG BASS!

Whether it's the daytime, low light, bright sun, wood, grass, rocks, it doesn't matter! Buzzbaits flat out take huge bass and bass that wouldn't have attacked another bait.

Over the years here in the Northeast we have taken the majority of our bigger bass on just a few different buzzbaits. The Klacker style buzzbaits, sometimes used with a trailer, like a big worm, have taken the most bass and the biggest bass, even in highly pressured waters, be it a lake, pond, or river.

The real trick to catching more and bigger bass with these baits is persistence and versatility, along with locations and the proper tackle,

I always use a trailer hook whenever possible and I like to use a stiffer rod, in 7 foot to 7 foot 6, in a medium heavy action, with Sunline braid in 65 lb test, unless the water is too clear for it, then I use Sunline fluorocarbon

You need to make REPEATED casts to the cover with this bait at multiple angles, and hesitate just a slight second before really setting the hook.

Take a look at our multiple videos here and on our YOUTUBE channel and watch how we catch more and bigger bass on buzzbaits.
