Hey guys, lately ive been fishing a new lake (lake wells) and ive been having trouble trying to catch fish. The lake is about fairly big lake, its in north florida, its been very sunny lately temp is in the high 90's, about a 5MPH wind, the water is a lighter brown, murky color. the bottom has TONS of grass, i see lots a little bait fish, im thinking they are shiners, ive only seen a couple of baby blue gills. But on last monday i went fishing there & i found TONS of schooling bass hittin bluegills and shiners on top water, i threw zara spooks, swim jigs, deep cranks(just incase) chatter baits, wacky rigs, texas rigs, carolina rigged lizards, drop shots. NO FISH -_-, i hooked 2 bass on swim jig and lost both, the last one was A PIG! 6 hoursonly 2 bite... But about 2 weeks ago, i did catch one bass, on a blk/blue jig with a jackall craw trailer, and another fish under a dock on a 5inch zipper worm texas rigged. i need some help on how to catch these fish.

Hmm, thats tough. I am surprised you havent caught much. I would work baits really slow, due to the fact that the water has to be pretty hot, and the bass are probably sluggish. Also, when you hit that grass on the bottom, rip the bait free, which will get a lot of reaction bites. Try burning a spinnerbait through the grass in search of a reaction bite as well. I am not positive on these, but i believe they should work. Steve should have a good answer.
