gamakatsu makes a weedless wacky hook especially for this type fishing... Get it here... Throw it wacky and let it sink in the isolated grass lines. twitch it back up when it settles to the bottom, let it sink again, and so on. Good luck!

Depends how you want it to fall and the size of the baits etc but i use three sizes for the best results, a NUMBER #2, NUMBER#4, and then when I go bigger I use a NUMBER ONE#1, not 1/0 or 2/0 NUMBER #2.

I also fish a Senko Texas rigged and completely weightless in the weeds, and I lube it all up with something real slippery like Smelly Jelly or some of the stuff Trophybasshunter123 sent me to try , lol, anything like that, so it slips an slides through the weeds better, and I make sure i use a heavy mono when i do this, it sinks slower, and comes through brush, etc better, I just compensate the feel by using a rod like a st Croix Legend Elite, and I catch bass in heavy grass with that Texas Rigged.

I usually fish my senkos texas rigged and weightless. I use to just use braid and a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hook, but lately i started using braid with a 3 or 4 foot flouro leader. That's how I caught this one. It was nearly 5 lbs (my biggest for the year).

Another way is to rig it wacky with a nail weight lengthwise into the middle of the Senko. It allows for the Senko to still sink naturally just a little faster depending the fall you are wanting.

use wacky on small rubberband- example (band brace on your tooth) it works for me because i dont have to worry about senko getting ripped
