the other day i was out on the nanticoke makin a run from seaford to broad creek ...boat was runnin good.....throttel seemed a little harder than usuall to get out of gear though, but had been runnin around the river before that run for a few hours ok, and then a little past the no wake zone in seaford i felt something kina "pop" in thecables or somethin in the throttel or motor, and now it wont plane...give it as much gas as you want, it dosnt plane, and if you mess with the idle it cuts out, what might be wrong with it???

I had a similar kind of issue with mine, I had to tighten the throttle cable up and it seemed to sort itself out, thats about the only advice I would have for it.

Do you move at all? If you can only idle and move you may have spun the prop but it does sound like a cable problem.
